This is what a St. Louis paper said about it:
‘Inten•Sati: Great Body, Great Life’

Named best instructor by New York Magazine and Allure magazine, Patricia Moreno brings an energy to her workout videos like none you've seen. She goes beyond encouraging, offering powerful mantras to be said to each move she offers. For instance, while doing punching moves, you say "I, am, strong," (one word to each punch). The idea is that by saying it, you believe it and that by saying it, you don't let your mind wander. When the mind doesn't wander, you are unlikely to talk yourself out of completing the workout. She says she wants to "harness the power of the mind to achieve the potential of the body ... so we can live a life we love in a body we love." This video is broken down into four segments: warm-up (10 minutes), cardio upper-body (15 minutes), cardio lower-body (25 minutes) and yoga stretch (15 minutes).
Her moves are influenced by yoga, dance and martial arts, and they will definitely get your heart pumping and your muscles firing, with a little balance challenge thrown in. But it's the powerful spoken meditations that will change the way you work out. It may feel a little strange at first, saying things such as "The love in me bows to you," but even the skeptical may start repeating along with Moreno after a while. She's that dynamic.

I, like all of us, need to work out to:
be healthy
be around for our families
feel good
be able to be active
lower our cholesterol
strengthen our hearts
not say no to activities
to feel good about ourselves
to like what we see in the mirror
So I am proposing we start working out together. Well you know what I mean, sort of. I am trying to figure out how we could start working out, eating right and supporting each other and keeping each other on track.
I am open to suggestions..............
Check out the video and let me know if you think you might like it.

Hey Heidi,
I'm slowly coming back from the dead. I so appreciate your comment love and concern while I've been a little out of it. I had a lot going on and still need to work through it.

I need to get back into it. The workout, the ONLY one that has EVER worked for me is called "The FIrm" I am going to folow your lead and stick with it!
I signed up at www.livestrong.com, its free and part of the site has a thing called the daily plate where you can track your calorie intake and all your exercising. This is week 2 of me going to the gym at work everyday and I am feeling awesome. This site has helped me be more aware of what I eat and how much exercise that i get.
Arrrgh. I sure need to do something. Maybe on January 2....
confession: I have never been one to take care of my body! Okay don't judge me, please. But I was thinking about joining curves uh-hum, after Christmas. A gift to myself kind of. What if we all supported each other with a certain day and a button like toast to Tuesday, where we give our updates and then all offer encouragement in the comments? We could call it Workout Wednesday's or something?
And YOU create the cutest buttons in the world, so you could do it and be our leader!
i'd like to be in. :)
I would love to join in...
I am on a weight loss and get fit journey and this might just help!
Can I join you?! I was thinking I was orginal by starting this on my blog and after a quick Google, here you are starting it for me. Thanks :)
