My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

Remember the painting I told you I bought..............

This is it girlssssssssssssssssssssssss~
Ain't she a beaut!
Doesn't it so look like me???!!!!!!!!
I am not kidding, when I look at this my heart melts!
Mine is huge and the framing is nuts on it~
more about that below~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I went to research Dan Campanelli ( the artist) I found some of his other prints~
When I first laid my eyes on this one below, I got emotional and tears welled up in my eyes!
Think I have issues????? LOL~
Look at mine framed HERE
and see how much it cost...............almost $400.
The frame on mine is MUCH deeper (bigger) and more of a rustic wood.
I will get a picture of mine on my wall after I get it hung and get my new couch which will be sitting right underneath it;)
Guess how much I got it for?????????????????????????????????$150.oo! The frame alone is worth more than that. I know, because I have had many things framed here in my local art/framing store.
I am sooooooooooooooo excited to get my new chair and couch.
Problem........................
don't know if my new rug, which I adore, will go with my new art. I went to look at it yesterday ( I haven't picked it up yet) to decide whether or not to keep it???
Oh yea, must keep it! Must figure out rug deal. It can always go in my bedroom........
..................................whenever I get my butt in gear and prime and paint it. I HATE to prime!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Anyone know of where I could get a dark tan area rug 11 x 14 that has red berries around the edge????? That is what I really want!

I love this painting as well and this is the type of berry look I am speaking to~

My "Toast to Tuesday" is the post below this!

Framing can be so expensive. You did get a good deal.

rug sites I frequent:
Home Decorators, Pier one, Bed Bath and Beyond, Lowes.

I know I am cheap like that, not me but my home decor! lol!

Love those paintings...looks like home! I like your "style" of decorating. Just jump in there and prime and paint your bedroom. I hate the feeling of a project undone that I dread doing...do it and get it out of the way!

I love it...but I like the second one best. I am a sucker for winter scenes.

I saw your request on various blogs regarding the berrie rug. I tried googling it...which usually works. I tried about 3 different ways, but didn't see what I think you are looking for...but you may want to try it yourself. Sometimes it is just a matter of the way you word it. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
