Last Sunday morning I left at 6:00 a.m. to go to Breese, Il. to see Megs and J. That's where J's dad lives and where they are staying till they leave Nov. 6th.

This Sun greeted me as I drove east.

This is an old house (looks like a Spanish mansion), and two old barns. Very cool property to own.

As I drove threw small town after small town I witnessed many gorgeous trees.......

This was a gorgeous farm. Every house and building was white with a green roof. I love to see farms that are kept so beautifully. You can see the pride of the owners.

Isn't this a cool barn? It had a new roof on it!

Courtney had planned to go with me to spend the day with her sister, but her whole family has been sick (where I got mine;) and she didn't think she could go. I left so early to make the most of the day. She called me around 7 a.m. This is how it went:

C-mom? where are you?
Me-almost to Springfield, why?
C-just askin!
Me-how are you feelin'?
C-fine
Me-Meg's was disappointed that you couldn't come
C-well I wanted to come if you hadn't left so early
Me-are you wanting to come now?
C-ummmmmmmm, yea
Me-(thinking, thinking, thinking)
C-how far away are you?
Me- a little over an hour
C-could I meet you in Springfield?
Me-no, just hurry and I will turn around and eat breakfast in Virginia and you can meet me there and leave your vehicle there.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo, I drove back about 25 miles and eat at this little restaurant.

While waiting for her I took some pics.

This warm weather has confused this little tree into blooming.

I've never seen so many crab apples!

Wow! This little town is so sweet. The colors on the tree's were amazing!

Megs was so surprised and happy to see her sister made it;)

I didn't tell her Court was coming!

As we drove from Breese to O'fallon to eat and shop I caught some great colors~We all wanted to eat at Chevy's. We love the food and it was so nice out we wanted to eat outside. Miss Snortie Bugar a.k.a. Courtney, was deliberating over what to order........Megs and J were enjoying the chips and dip! Yummy!

Megs and J shared fish taco's!

Court ordered a variety plate!

I ordered nachos!
I loved the way this oriental grass looked! We did some shopping and then went to see a movie!
Courtney is explaining the theory of relativity to J while we wait in line!
To lighten the mood ( we went to "The changeling" and it was VERY upsetting) the girls played some skee ball!
I love to see my girls having fun together!Megs wanted to show J who was boss at shooting hoops;)

She took it serious and gave it her all;) But J won! Sorry Mego!

I am going to miss Megs and J, but I am no stranger to saying "Good bye" to Megs!

I wish them adventures, good health and safe travels!

I love you both more than you know and am proud of you both!

I look forward to talking to you on Skipe:)

Won't you please vote at the top of my side bar?? Please;)

I'm so glad you were able to Toast to Tuesday.
Those pictures are just amazing. I love the barn with the green roof and the park bench picture.
So glad that Courtney was able to go with you after all, I bet Megs was so glad to see her.
It just makes my heart smile that you all got to spend some time together before they left.

Hope you feel better real soon...

You are tagged!

I've been tagged by Leah Frye over at Barn Door Tagz to play "Book Tag."

Here are the rules:

1)Grab the nearest book.
2)Open the book to page 56.
3)Find the fifth sentence.
4)Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
5)Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one.
Pick the Closest.
6)Tag five people to do the same.
Tell who tagged you!

Gosh, you have a cute blog!
And i want to borrow your toast.
Thanks $1,000,000!

Oh, bye, the bye....
I sorta started a "toast tag" with your idea...
So, you might be getting some strange notes in your comment section....
Come on over to the "middle of the road" to see what this crazy Pony Cousin did to you...
(We PC's do this kind of thing to one another all the time!)
