A Sunday country drive with Megs;), Shopping & R.I.P. Paul Newman

It's the first day of my new job! I am slightly nervous for some reason!
This post is not in order:)
A perfect day with my first born...................................
We took the long, leisurely way in the country to get to our shopping destination.
Here is what I got!
Love!
Love #2 and got the heather gray one as well;)

Adore!

Can't wait to wear at my new job!

I have been looking for a wallet that I loved for 2 years. I LOVE this one and actually it was in burnt orange!

My fav shot of the day!

The view from my convertible while looking straight up!
Isn't water so relaxing?! Even when you are simply viewing a photo of it!
My favorite country roads are the ones that are canopied by tree's, like this one;)

Cool!

Side of the ol' dirt road!

Vibrant purple straight outta the shoot, ehhhhh?!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! My first born~Megs! My days with her are numbered! She and Johan leave this Friday from my house and for Africa November 5th!

omg! Omg! OMG!

Look!!!!!! You can see the flys on this little guys face and flying in the air! Straight from my little ol' camera;) You "have" to click on the photo and enlarge. I am so blown away. I was 50 feet away easy!

Beautiful shots! And great shirts. It is sad that he passed, but I heard that he had been pretty sick for a long time, so I am sure it was for the best.

Love the tops...my wardrobe is in a sad state at the moment. Must do something about that.

All of the photos are beautiful, including the one of Megs. Lets see a shot of your convertible! I'm envious over here...I don't even have a sun roof.

I just heard about Paul Newman. My heart goes out to Joanne. Theirs was a relationship to emulate.

Good luck on the job today! We're all there with you cheering you on!

Much love & Hugs,
Carolynn

What a great collection of photos! Yes, lovely catch of your daughter's face, with the soft light. Oh, my....enjoy your time with her before she goes so far away.

I really like the old farm building photos. And....you have a convertible! Oh, I'm envious!

And, thank you for mentioning Paul Newman. I just finished reading a long article about him in Sunday's Des Moines Register. I like that fact that he avoided the Hollywood scene.....did his own thing, and matter-of-factly helped people along the way! A good example for all of us!

Thank you everyone for "the love";)

I just have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring. It's beginning to show it's age in some spots but I am driving the wheels off it! I developed a new attitude about cars several years ago.......... drive them, keep them up, take care of them and drive um till they won't drive no more;) Sometimes it's hard when you see all the new shiney ones and you have to have faith that is won't break down, but new one's can do that;)
