My First Ever Sky Watch Friday

I am in Southern Illinois for my daughter's wedding.
I programmed this post to run today.
I am a beginner folks!
Both to Sky Watch and to great photos.
I do not own photoshop, so these are straight
from my camera and me;)
Wish I could learn at least how to put a frame around it
and add my signature?? Anyone;)

This is beautiful... as are your other photographs. And don't ever buy Photoshop. It's not photography, it's computer "tweaking". Ansell Adams didn't have Photoshop.

Have a wonderful time at the wedding and tell us all about it when you get back.

Love your photos. Fun!

Hope you have a great time at the wedding and I can't wait to hear all about it when you return.

I totally know what you mean about having blog withdrawl. When we went to NYC in July I had a hard time.

Beautiful shot AG! I can't help you with the photography part of it, but if you go to http://lilacsandroses.blogspot.com, she has some great posts about photography & tips.

So beautiful! Thanks so much for stopping by my site last week. I'm just getting back into real life after vacation and am so happy to have found a new place to visit! Thanks again, SSG

Great capture!
I like the beautiful texture of the clouds. I haven't seen a sky like that for ages.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and adding me to your blogroll. I have reciprocated.

Good one, Heidi! Hope you are having a blast at the wedding, too.

And I must disagree with Jo on the photoshop issue. Ansel Adams surely tweaked his photos while in the development stage and if we had digital imaging back then, he'd have used photoshop.

I use photoshop and am not ashamed to say it! Sorry, Jo.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you how to add a frame and a signature any other way. Maybe picnik.com?

many first times a most memorable, heidi ;)

'photoshop elements' is more affordable than the full pkg, but there are others even cheaper

i hear blogger has something you can use for free...

have great fun at the wedding :)

It needs nothing: It's perfect as is. Jo's right...photography needs to be pure, it needs to be about the capture. Few things disturb me more than photos that are literally manufactured in software.

I have no problem using photo editing software for light tweaking. But when a guy throws an image of the shuttle launching over a picture of him holding his kid, it's dishonest.

This, on the other hand, is as pure as it gets. And perfect.

Hope you're having a wonderful trip. Congratulations! May you always have happies to share.
