My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

Stunning.....................MUST SEE!

Yesterday Courtney gave me a late Christmas present that had not come yet...................................

I had wanted it so bad.
It's a daily dose of positivity, not a book to read;)
I love the positive messages from Dr. Schuller (He was strongly influenced by his mentor, Norman Vincent Peale, Schuller has focused in his teaching on the positive aspects of Christianity. Rather than concentrating on condemning people for sin, he encourages Christians (and non-Christians) to achieve great things through God, uplifting theology and positive thinking. Such doctrines have led to some spirited criticism by many evangelicals.[citation needed] Schuller holds Viktor Frankl to have been one of the two greatest psychiatrists of the past century. [1] Wiki)

...this little book combines the God-giftedness of Ken Duncan's incredible photographic talent with our ministry's own powerfully positive, God-inspired message.

In 1981, a young Ken Duncan stood on a mountaintop in Bali experimenting with a new fangled wide view camera.

Ken had "experimented" with life, too, and on this mountaintop he came to cry out with a most sincere heart, beseeching God:

"If you're real, God, reveal yourself to me!"

God did, and Ken Duncan's life has been a powerful testimony for the living Lord ever since.

Here is some of Ken's work:
