Want to see my tree this year??????????

I had a little fun with my camera.

I normally do an elaborate tree but with all the mess at my house and Cooper not really knowing what's what yet I have opted to not put up a tree this year. I have caught a lot of crap for this but oh welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!

I will more than make up for it next year;)

Peace, HeidiHo

Those are really pretty. I haven't had a tree for a few years now. With just me in the house to see it, it just hasn't seemed quite worth it. I've decorated a bit, but it's all pretty low key.

My son's first Christmas (2005) we had just bought our house and were still moving in and settling at Christmas. (moved in dec.18) So we only put out/decorated my pencil tree. (pictured on my blog now)
Nothing wrong with not putting out a tree at all. Whatever works.
Great picture fun!

At first I thought you were telling us you had a bad night with the camera and I was smiling but then I got it--sorry-- a little slow on the uptake. I love the squiggly lights---I hope we get our tree up today!!

No need for a stand mixer! I just have a hand-held mixer(a cheapo one from Wal-Mart that only has one speed - it's supposed to have more, though). Then knead by hand :D

Oh Oh Oh....My grandma had one of those ceramic trees when I was little. I loved it so much....my Aunt was cleaning out the house and gave me the tree last year. It's one of my favorite things.

oh! It is just your camera! Well, at first I thought I had too much to drink at the christmas party last night!

I think you made a good decision. I don't know who would give you a hard time, but you are thinking of the best for you and coops, so I agree with you. Besides, it's not the size of the christmas tree, it's how you hang the ornaments! lol! I just made that up.
