I'm the Grandma....................

The other night I took Cooper to the store and right as we walked in I showed him the Christmas tree.

A family was watching us. Finally they said "he looks just like you" ( I get that a lot)

I said "Oh, thanks" "I''ll be sure and tell my daughter that. He is my grandson" and started to walk away.

I could here them gasping and saying to each other "what did she say??? She can't be the Grandma!!!!"

I didn't smile once!!!!

And I am a big fat liar;)
(about me not smilin')

My mom gets that a lot, too with my kids.... I think that its a blessing and I hope someday I can be a young looking granny, too!

AND - I observed this happening at Target the other night, too! This gorgeous lady had a darling little girl with her and the checker said something about mother/daughter time and the g'ma corrected her ;)
