My new area rug I ordered and more;)

I have looked off and on for a couple of years for an area rug that I LOVED.
After hours in the local stores and on the Internet today I found it! I can't wait to get it. It is perfect for me. It may seem a little fancy or flowery but I don't think so when it is actually in my house surrounded by my non fancy things. And besides ................it sang to my heart;) I don't like abstract or, or, well I can't think of the word and can't explain my style, I just know what I like when I see it and I love this one;)
Mine is the Sage one;) It has all my colors in it. My walls are sage, my curtains and other accents are red and I have butter yellow around as well. I love the unique shape as well;)
This is my new floor steamer. It works amazing. So many are awful and this one is perfect. Light weight, easy to use and dries quick.

This is the wood floor BEFORE. I will be refreshing it tomorrow with a coat of poly with tint!

Cooper loves to help me clean and is obsessed with brooms, vacuums, etc.
Behind him is the couch I am getting rid of and the cheap glider I am giving to Court for Cooper's room at her house. The blue bean bag was Court's as a teenager. (notice clean laundry piled on it)I just recently washed it (HUGE mess taking the stuffing out) and brought it out for Cooper but he is not very interested in it. I seem to sit in it more while being on the floor playing with him. Excuse the mess, everything is in disarray.

Here he is spelling out:
I love my gran'mama! LOL

Here is "the little man" getting ready to have a chew on Buck's chew bone. (No I didn't let him silly)
I can't wait to show you the new piece of framed Art I got. It is still at the store. It is HUGE. Probably 4 x 5. Brown frame with a red barn (image that) and hay and sheep. It is gorgeous. I got a super great deal on it. Before I tell you how much it was I am going to research it so I don't make a fool of myself!

Peace! Heidi;)
My new furniture is HERE!

I think the rug is gorgeous, especially in the sage color. And the shape is so unusual too. Can't wait to see it all together!

Ohhh! I've been looking into getting a floor steamer for a long time- we're mostly laminate floors in this house. The reviews have always been less than stellar. Glad to have an unbiased review! I'm going to go and check into that. Thanks!

That is one of my favorite sayings, "it makes my heart sing". So funny to read someone else use a version of it.
The rug is lovely. Can't wait to see the finished results.

Love the rug! It will be perfect! That photo of Cooper with the broom brought back so many memories of my son helping me around the house.....he loved to help sweep and run the vaccum. He is all grown up now, owns his own home and doesn't like to sweep or run the vac anymore....he, he. Those wood floors are gonna shine when you are all done with them....=D

I seriously LOVE that area rug! You can't go wrong with QVC stuff. That rug sang to me too. I have to go ask Gary if will come and let it sing to him as well so I can get it for my living room!

I have a feeling he will say no. He doesn't hear a lot of singing when it comes to house decor...

It is a beautiful rug! I sold rugs as well with the furniture and this one is a beaut! Congratulations... some may say it's a "busy" pattern but if it works with the other items in your home, then it should be perfect!!!!! I am sure you know what you are doing. =)
The photos are precious!!
