My mission statement~
I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

WOW-that is amazing I hope they have a safe trip....the pics are beautiful
My thoughts will be with them. The hearts of Megs & J is inspiring, and I wish them safety and much joy!!!
How long will they be there? I was in Ghana this year... the people are so very wonderful!
How absolutely, toe-tingling exciting! They must be overjoyed to finally be setting out on this adventure. What an amazing experience for them that can only serve to bring them even closer as a couple.
You, my dear, would probably benefit from a hot bath, followed by some hot lemonade, and a couple days of rest. I wonder if this illness you've been suffering with is a result of the stress you've been feeling over your Megs & Jonathan's imminent departure....? Stress can do funky things to our immune systems. Rest, cry, whine. Do whatever it takes, but know that they & you are firmly in God's hands and trust that everything will be okay.
Much love to you,
Carolynn
Oh, that's so hard on a Mom! I hope they have a life-changing (in a GOOD WAY) experience. What a wonderful opportunity for them.
I'll keep them in my prayers too
Oh how much I know you are going to miss them!!! God has them in His arms and will be watching over them daily.
They are two beautiful children inside and out to be giving their time.
I will continue to pray for them.
You are a very blessed momma!! I will pray that God keeps them safe! They are truly wonderful people!
I am just learning your blog....moving around looking. You are wonderful photographs. How long are they going for?
Meg and Jonathan are wonderful people and I will keep them on our prayer list. Keep us updated please! Thanks for the map too! It's nice to see exactly where they will be. Hope you get better soon.
It's never easy having the kids move from our grasp, no matter how many times it happens.
It is a wonderful adventure they are setting out upon and may God watch over them.
I hope they have a safe trip. When do they get to come back and visit? I would bring over some kleenex if I lived closer...
Oh, gosh, that looks like a fabulous organization. You must be so proud of Megs and Jonathan. How wonderful that young people feel strong about doing these things for people who are less fortunate. And I think they will get as much out of the adventure as they will be contributing to the folks they will be helping.
I'm sorry to hear about your cold. You have to see this video about the Man Cold.
Tostan really sounds like a great organization.
Good luck to Meg and Jonathan.
The pictures are great.
Have a good day.
Pam
