My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

Dear future soul mate~

I just wanted to let you know that I am here and waiting very patiently. I have missed you a couple of times in my life and am hoping you are still out there looking for me.

I know that you will be kind, spontaneous, adventurous, and spiritual. You will love children but not want anymore. You will love doing all the same things that I love: Long country drives, taking pictures of the country side, barns, sunsets, clouds and whatever else, dancing, watching movies, eating out, working in the yard and on the house, traveling, playing with our grandchildren and spoiling them. No opposites attract thing goin' on here.

You will dislike all the same things I dislike: mean people, gossipy people, rude people, workaholics that have no time for family, being anal, controlling, cold hearted and greedy.

You will be: loving, generous, funny, sweet, emotionally healthy, and affectionate.

Hopefully you will live on a farm or in the country, if not you will want to like me;)

I love you already and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together enjoying it and enriching the lives of others~

See you soon;)

Heidi, I can so relate because I spent 11 years single after my first marriage. You must remember you are the catch!

I love it! and I hope he reads your letter very soon. But hey -- better to not yet find your soulmate than try to force someone to be the soulmate he isn't. Good luck!

He is out there, and you two will meet! I am so sure of that.

I had met Gar 10 years before the fateful Christmas dinner. Obviously something clicked a decade later.

Sometimes it just takes a little time......

This is lovely. Its wonderful that you're very honest and open about sharing your heart. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I think often people meet in the most unexpected ways, so you just never know. Relax and live with an open heart....it will reach out and touch the right person at the right time.

I'm sure you'll find that right person at just the right time. You know what you want. You know what you're worth. Put those two things together with a little effort to get out and socialize and it's inevitable that Mr. Right will come along.

And we are excited for that day too- think of all the great blog posts you'll have! We can re-live the whole romance thing via your posts!
