Toast to Tuesday and has anyone out there in bloggyland thought they had this............

~Toast to Tuesday~
I created this because Tuesday is another day we have to appreciate what we have in our lives and to celebrate all that is good in the world!Every Tuesday you can toast to things, ideas or people if you want, and use this logo on your post if you want, let me know in my comments so I can read your "toasts"!
I am toasting to:
My health
Resting and nesting
Long hot showers
New face scrubs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm curious, since I have this and have had ADD affect me since childhood, how many of you out there either: have it, think you might have it, have a child who has it or who has a friend, relative or co-worker who has it??? How has it affected you?
Great things to toast!
I toast to preschool, Spongebob Squarepants, my MIL being out of town for a whole week, and the afterglow of date night!
Happy Tuesday!
Wonderful idea~!~
I will work on a toast. Right now I need to go run my body into the ground. I guess I could toast to that, but I think everyone gets sick of hearing about my running.
Again, I love this idea. m
Your post about took my breath away! My last child has ADHD and recently it has escalated and the medication seems not to be even making a dent! My heart has been heavy because I feel so helpless! We adopted her when she was 3 and we knew that her birth mom had drank alcohol while she was pregnant--so we knew there were going to be issues. But I am at a loss. It seems like she can't focus long enough to learn something or remember it and no common sense whatsoever. I am feeling like I will soon have to take her out of the public school system for her own safety. I can laugh about it A LITTLE now--on Sunday another little girl in her church class took her with her and they hid in the baptismal font changing area. Had the entire church looking for them--including around town. It was so scary until we found them. I am completely overwhelmed--sorry I have rattled on--it just struck a chord.
Good things to toast too. I'll be doing mine shortly.
When my daughter was in elementary school her teachers kept bringing up that she may have ADHD. I honestly didn't want to believe it and just thought they couldn't handle my social child. But after taking a class through my health insurance I realized that in fact my daughter may have a form of this. She wasn't diagnosed with ADHD but actually ADD. And once we got her on medication for it things changed. Of course after going through all of that for her and the classes I realized that I indeed had ADD and have probably had it my entire life, which explains a lot to me. I already knew I had depression which does run in my family.
So needless to say it was a big wake up call. My daughter who is now 17 doesn't take her medicine anymore because she doesn't feel she needs to. At this stage it is her decision. I'm kinda hoping that my son doesn't have it. He's doing fine so far.
Heidi,
For a while we thought my daughter had ADHD but after some testing it was determined she did not.
However she has dealt with depression off and on and it's very difficult for all of us. Mental health issues can be so challenging. So many people don't understand until they or a family member have been through it.
I'm happy you are doing well in you life and hopefully your children are as well.
Hugs,
Sharon
