My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

My trip to and fro ~ Omaha for my new job!

Monday morning I left for Omaha, NE for a Missions Advancement conference for PRS's. That's me;) Public Relations Specialist. I drove the 6 hours. Yippee! I LOVE to drive for miles and hours on end! While stopping for lunch I captured this..........................
I love it and plan on framing it;)
The cloud formations over Iowa were really cool!
I slept in this bed! Pivotal information I know, I know;)
Buttttttttttttt, it was really comfy!

The Hawthorn Suites were really nice. I didn't light up the fireplace but next time;)

This is one of our National Head quarter's buildings. Isn't it cool??!!
Andddddd this is Susan!!! She went as well. She is new in our position from Farmington, NM. She is super cool and we got to know each other very well. We had a blast Tuesday night. We ate at this cool restaurant, exchanged life stories and got lost trying to go downtown and back home;) I look forward to getting to know here better!

This is an absolutly gorgeous stained glass. It is not showing it's true beauty??? Sad! And why is Jesus' face all white? You can't even see it at all??
Susan kept saying ......"why don't you get in the pic?" I said "oh no sista! You ain't gettin' me in there!" Susan is standing with Brenda Soloman. She has been with Mosaic since she was 16 years old. She was the new CEO's supervisor at one time. Super lovely lady. It was my priveledge to meet her and spend time with her.

This is our Mission statement!

Two histories coming together to form Mosaic 5 years ago~Martin Luther Homes 1924-2003 and Bethphage Mission 1913 -2003

On the way out there were lots of these but I had to keep on movin'. On the way back I was tired and couldn't find a good place to pull over, so this is what I got while drivin';)
I cannot explain this............at all....................
but they kind of creeped me out??? How in the world could tall metal modern windmill's be creepy?? I kept getting this feeling that they were aliens posing as windmills. Weird! Yes??!! And I am no science fiction Brod! I did want to capture their whiteness against the blue sky~

Really white!!!!! Really blue!!!!!
I am extremely grateful to be a part of such a wonderful organization!
Love and Peace to all!

What a wonderful organization to work for. Here in Wyoming we have wind, lots and lots of wind, so therefor we have lots of these windmills popping up every day. One of those arms are the length of a semi trailer.

That picutre is amazing and you should print it and frame it. The windmill pictures are great. We have those here in CA too.

It's so nice that someone from your work went with you for the week. Always nice to get to know someone and be able to hang out together.

Some of my favorite, most memorable moments during my career have come when I hit the road for a big road trip. This entry captures the magic wonderfully. How lucky you are to be part of such a meaningful organization. They're lucky to have you!

Hey.....nice photo series here from your trip through Iowa! This was posted on SkyWatch Friday.....and many of your photos include beautiful skies. What a lovely time for a road trip!

The wind turbines are intriguing....I guess I've never thought of them as spooky. My son is an electrical engineer and has worked up in the turbines. He interned in Colorado and we visited there and went up to the top of a wind turbine tower. Now, THAT was spooky.....as in scary! But, a great view!

Neat photo of Jesus the Good Shepherd. I'm assuming the face turned out white just in the photo? Cool. I'll probably be posting Jesus the Shepherd for next Sunday's stained glass window post....it might be similar to this design in your photo.

It sounds like you have a very satisfying job! Good for you! That's great and may all continue to go well!!

susan looks sweet. is she the woman you went to Urban Outfitters with? your hotel looked nice! those windmills are all over europe - i think they freak people out because they are very big and powerful and modern, and no human is insight controlling them.
