Shots I captured at my daughter's wedding;)

The following 8 shots were taken by Megs freind~Christine!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Megan and Jonathan's wedding!
Psssst....it's my one month blogging anniversary;)
Megan (mini Martha) the day before.
Love this shot!
Megs and Jonathan's oldest sister!
Cooper and I the night before at the very lovely get together at a very a cool winery.
(Important side note rambling: I know all the great self help guru's say you shouldn't feel this way and I would try and help someone else feel good about themselves, but 99.9% of the time I HATE my picture! And I HATE ALL of the one's of me from this weekend! I put this one up because I knew I was going to catch flack from my dear friends saying....................."where are all the pictures of you?" This is the least ugliest I could find and I HATE it as well! So here ya go my friends;) I am praying at least one of the professional pics turn out good! I didn't end up wearing the red dress. I wore the silver one. More "mother of the bride"! Long story, maybe later;)
Sorry there are none of my dress! I was the one with my camera in my hand and only 1 was taken of me in my dress and it was awful! Maybe some professional ones later;)
Megan's father and stepmother!
Bride and Groom!
Beaming!
Oozing love!
Megan and her Mother-in-law!
Fantastic captute of both the "girls"!
Cooper's Mommy and Daddy and the brides sister!
Cakes that Jonathan's mother made! They were to die for!
Pretty!
The celebration was at Jonathan's father's family farm!
Megan and J worked their tiny tails off getting it ready!
Great job you two;)
Last minute details right before!
Megs, J and his father! Megs will hate this of her but it is the only one I had of J and his dad!
Sisters forever!
Heavenly! Happy!
A mother's love!
Amazing friends of the Bride and Groom all the way from San Francisco!
Megan's Paternal Grandmother!
This is perfect and a framer!
Megan's Paternal Grandfather!
He did a stupendous job at: officiating, speaking, corralling, motivating, and publicly demonstrating a love for his wife that is phenomenal!
This shot is blurry but I LOVE the soft light, colors and expressions on their faces!
Megan's Dad #2;)
Just neat!
Just cool!
Jonathan's middle sister and her boyfriend!
Jonathan-
I love you like you were my own son!
If I could hand pick any one on the earth for Megan.......
it would be you!
Your charity, givingness and selflessness is admirable
I love you Jonathan!
Jonathan's mother and very nice boyfriend!
Megan during the newlywed game! Cool angle!
Megan-
You looked so beautiful! (as you do everyday!)
I am so happy Jonathan was an RA in your dorm that year;)
I love you my first born!
Love your,
mama!
Just pretty!
I was trying out my "candle light" setting on my camera!
Newlywed game!
I was happy that I knew 98% of everything about them:)
It made me feel good about how close I am with them!
I am so grateful for all the trips I took to MIZZOU and the quality time I spent with them!
My only (blurry) shot of them cutting the cake!
Pur-tah!
Having fun on the dance floor!
Couple of the universe!
Brunch the morning after!
Guess who I am holding?
We were on our way after this to clean-up, say our good byes and head home!
I get to be with "the" couple again for a week or so soon!
They will be leaving November 5th for Africa, so I have to cling to every minute possible;
People were very generous while giving to Jonathan and Megan's cause! They raised a good amount of money to give! "Thank you" everyone!
I am happily exhausted emotionally and physically! I better get re-charged this week! I start my new job next monday and I will need all my brain cells. I will have lots to learn;)
P.S. if you want any of these shots-just right click over the photo and choose "save this picture"
Wow! Looks a great time for all! How beautiful it looks... and you... you need to realize that even though we don't "feel" like we look good... to the ones that love us... we look awesome! I find nothing at all wrong with either of the shots of you on your post! You are fabulous looking! I wouldn't ever guess you to be a "grandma"! Way young looking!! I wish we women wouldn't have to live our lives picking ourselves apart - and just relax and be happy with what we are. I am totally guilty of what you mentioned too. I want to stop disliking my looks... but I don't know how either! What is it with us girls? Geeez.
Well, glad your back safe and you look marvelous! (Billy Crystals voice in the movie... oh crap...I forgot the name of the movie. I hope you know what I am talking about!)
Heidi, Heidi....
You are so cute, don't ever say that about yourself again!!! I look at my pictures the same way and suppose most folks do. Your pictures are all wonderful. I am amazed how you get this all done! I have been sitting here for 30 minutes and must get off so will be back on tomorrow to finish all your new stuff. Your comments were all special, you have a fabulous gift! Good luck on your job tomorrow, I know you will do good.
I feel like I was there. What gorgeous pictures and, more notably, what a wonderful spirit you managed to wind around them all with your lovely words.
I hope everyone who was there reads this and realizes just how much love you brought to the festivities. You're definitely reaping what you've sown, and it's a joy to watch. Thank you for allowing us to watch over your shoulder.
Congratulations!
Wow! Thank you for the lovely comments! Self Esteem issues are so tricky! I hate to see other people suffer with issues but I certainly have my share. What I don't like most about my pics is that I don't think I look like I do in real life. I am not photogenic.
Anyhouser! Much love;)
Whoops! I just got back from walking Buck and I was thinking while walking that I didn't mean self esteem. I meant~ body image issues;)
You took a lot of wonderful photos! And the ones of you were nice. I know what you mean about not liking having your picture taken. It's why I spent my time behind the camera.
Dan & I had such a wonderful time all night long! I am so glad Meg and Johan were able to celebrate their love w/ all their closest friends/family. It meant so much for us all to be there. And, Meg definitely got the Martha Stewart genes from her mama!! It was gorgeous. So many little details that added up to one simply elegant affair. I can't wait to see the professional pics...but, I'll be sending mine to you soon. Love you all!!!
Happy One Month Anniversary, Heidi!
What a lovely wedding. Great photos. Everyone in your family is stunning. I will also tell you, I stopped on your photo and my immediate thought was, "Wow, she's beautiful." So, there. Then I read your disclaimer and I thought "What?!? No red dress!!!" For shame, girl.
Very lovely photos.....including the one of YOU!! But, I understand.....I HATE photos of myself, and will practically punch anyone who dares to try and take one!
Congrats on the beautiful wedding!
What a beautiful "bride" and wedding. I am so happy things turned out so "perfect."
I wish you were able to take time off and been able to help out more with the wedding since you love planning and doing for others.
Oh by the way Heidi, Did you know that it Beautiful Women Month?
Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips."
"For attractive lips..speak words of kindness"
"For lovely eyes...seek out the good in people"
"For a slim figure..share your food with the hungry"
"For beautiful hair..let a child run his/her finger through it once a day"
"For poise..Walk with knowledge that you never walk alone"
Heidi,
I believe you have all of her "beauty tips."
That's funny JanNell-
That is the poem I have with Audrey's pic on my right hand side of my blog.
Thank you for your warm words!
