My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

Cowgirl boots-

I love cowgirl boots. I wish I could wear mine everyday! You can get the above boots at Boot Barn
It's so funny because two nights ago I had a dream that I was at a community festival and Angelina was there. She spotted my boots and went on and on about how she loved my boots and then showed me hers. This was the beginning of hanging out during the festival. Brad had the kids:) Cool dream. Angelina was so sweet! Funny! I rarely remember my dreams.
I was visiting A Glowing Amber and she had this test for what kind of shoe you were.
It said: You Are Cowboy Boots
It describe me this way: This doesn't mean you're country, just funky. You've got a ton of attitude and confidence. You're unique, expressive, and even a little bit wacky. You wear whatever you feel like – and you have your own sense of style. You are straight shooting and honest. You tell people how it is.Low maintenance and free wheeling, you're always up for an adventure. You should live: Where you can at least get to wide open spaces You should work: In a job that allows you to take change.
All of this is very much me and I am country mixed with city! What kind of shoe are you? I always say my perfect dream would be to live in the country on a working farm that is only 30 minutes away from a big city:) To shop, eat and go dancing! When I lived in Georgia it felt like this. Country was all around you but at any moment big city living was near.
"Have A super great
Hump day:)"

Oh how sad, I am a pair of loafers. I think I might cry now. I love those boots in that picture. Maybe I need to stop by Justin's and see what they have.

Hi Heidi! No big surprise here... I was cowboy boots too!! LOL! It is fun finding someone that I have so much in common with! I wonder if we would get along good in person? Too much alike, or just enough... that is the question!
Great post!

I did not take the quize but I am usually shoeless. Thanks for the visit and the nice comments. I have to agree with you on the animal issue. Western culture leads people to think that chickens were born in a plastic bag with no feathers and no head. As well as beef growing up on a styrofoam sheet with shrink wrap. The pants down post is pretty funny. I can't say it has happened to me though. If you have any questions on photography just ask me and I will be more than happy to help you.
Cheers

beki-don't cry sugar, loafers can be sassy and preppy which I like:)
Hi-d-No I am not surprised at this point:) The older I get the more I like having things in common vs. the whole opposits attract thing. Maybe I am getting set in my ways??? :)
fish whisperer-Thank you for your comment. It is so nice to hear someone say what you said. I look forward to visiting your blog often.
This is SO FUN! Meeting so many cool people and so different, I think, from my space. I never could get into that. The whole freind thing felt high schoolish??? No offense to lovers of my space. I just couldn't get into it and this I can (am). Peace!

Howdy, Heidi!!!
Thanks so much for the sweet comments you've left for me!!! I love your blog- you have some great photos on here!!
I love this post. I can't live without my boots...
I have 2 pairs- my "work" boots and my "Sunday-go-to-meetin" boots.... It's not hard to tell them apart- one pair is fairly clean, but the other pair has a big wad of poo with hay stuck to it... (yeah I know... nice visual...)
I can't wait to read some of your older posts to get caught up on you... please come visit me anytime!!
