My mission statement~

I intend on "trying" to live a life that is about: not putting in my mouth things that are bad for me or have come from an animal that was treated cruely while alive on this earth and during slaughter, creating lasting fond memories for my children and grandchildren, adventure, challenging myself, respect others regardless of species, race, color or creed, taking risks, having fun, being grateful, respecting myself & my body, being authentically myself, taking responsibility for my actions, being proactive, being a problem solver, taking action, introspection, transition, change, honesty, growth, loving & helping others, having integrity, doing my best, being easy on myself, enjoying this world, becoming well read, seeing the wonder of it all and never allowing fear to hold me back!

Toast to Tuesday~ 3 part series~more about the wedding~my todo list~dancing with the stars!

Celebrations of "Love" are what I am toasting to today!

Update since posting this:

Christine is one of Meg's best friends. She sent me some amazing pics of the celebration this morning after I had already posted for the day but I had to add them! Thanks honey;) She got some shots that I failed to. Here they are:

Love is in the air! Look at the way they look at eachother!
All her best friends from childhood:
L2R-Katie, Christine, Megs, Jill & Ricci

They wrote their own vows. They were powerful!

Nice shot of the flowers!

Megs loves doing things like the above place cards;)

And this! Have I said how amazing she is? Oh yea! Forgive me;)

Yes, yes! She made her bouquet as well!

Look at that smile!

Hi again friends!

I was soooooooooooo tired after the big weekend that I took Sunday and Monday evening to chill with my pets:)

My post yesterday was mainly pics with scattered explanations!

I wanted to expand on one of the details I didn't have photos of~food!

From the minute Megs starting planning this celebration she was on the phone with her mama, that's me;). We talked about every detail. About how it was possible. About colors. About the flowers. About the food. Some people didn't think it was possible for her to pull it together. I never doubted it for one second and kept reassuring her when she would call me with doubts.

You've seen the flowers, tables, people and other decorations. What I failed to take shots of was the food! Megan planned on:

Hors d'oeuvres:

Tiny quiches'

Cheese n crackers

Olives

Assorted fruits

Main course:

Greek Salad

Spinach salad w/cheese, mandarin oranges, nuts, cranraisins

Cheese tortellini with pesto and pine nuts

Penne pasta w/Alfredo, mushrooms, peas and Parmesan cheese

Shrimp cooked in butter and spices

Garlic and cheddar biscuits

Ummmm Yummy!

Jonathan's mother was able to come a week before the wedding and help Megs! "Thanks so much"! They shopped, fine tuned and planned everything down to the tiniest of details for the big cooking day~Friday!

I arrived Friday at noon. (I feel bad that I couldn't afford to take off more days to go and help;( I wanted to.) Most of all the food was already cooked! Many helpers were there to cook and many thanks go to: a mother-in-law, 2 sister-in-laws, a step-mom and I think some other relatives of Js. Without them it would have taken so much longer and have been so much more stressful! I helped at the end and then set out to make my garlic-cheese biscuits! Those were my only "food" contributions. The day of, everyone was so amazed that the food wasn't catered in. Megs ordered serving containers off the net and found some at SAMS. It did look catered in. It all tasted amazing! Nice menu Mego! You Be the Girl Baby!

This is my ONLY food shot;(

Hi there. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
The way that I add my name to my pictures is pretty easy. I just right click on my picture and then go to the open with part...Open with Paint. I then change the color to white and pick a font and size and then place it on the bottom of my photo and then save it. As for the frames around the pictures, that is actually part of the layout I chose on Blogger.
Hope this helps..
