My grandpa had Harley's, a Harley shop and a Honda shop at different times in his life. I had a VERY diversified upbringing, living with different families and at times was quit the (girly) tomboy. My grandpa was a constant presence in my life though.
I have wanted my own motorcycle (and four wheeler and boat) my whole life but I have just had other priorities to take care of. I wanted a convertible my whole life and finally have one. It is one of my daily joys in life and I never want to be without one again. I fully plan to have a motorcycle and boat someday as well. Just takes time.
Anyway, Susan, from: http://raisintoast.typepad.com/raisin_toast/ had this picture on her blog a couple of weeks ago and I mean it when I say I melted and became weak in the knee's upon staring at it. I investigated and asked Susan all about it and she was gracious enough to tell me about the author and where to find it. "Thank you again Susan"!
There are several reason's why I am now obsessed with this photo: I LOVE everything about it-the colors, the time period, the bike style, the girl, her cloths and so on. I have it hanging on my fridge.

Thanks for stopping by my cabin today! we have another thing in common, my dad was also a motorcycle dad when I was growing up, used to race professionally and everything. I never was crazy about them though. But I understand the draw you have to them.
